Princess Diana was born Diana Spencer in 1961. She became an international icon of grace, compassion, and fashion. She married Charles, now the United Kingdom’s monarch, in 1981 in a ceremony watched by millions around the globe.

Princess Diana was renowned for her humanitarian work. These included her efforts to ban landmines and her support for people with HIV/AIDS. She could easily connect with people, and they loved her. She was noted for her style and was closely associated with the fashion world.
