Prince Harry Warms Hearts with Special Gesture for Children in the UK

Prince Harry brought joy to the hearts of children in the UK with a heartfelt gesture in support of his charity.

On Tuesday, the Duke of Sussex made a surprise appearance at a Christmas party hosted by *Scotty’s Little Soldiers*, a charity that supports bereaved military children. As a global ambassador for the charity, Harry joined a 30-minute virtual session, donning a festive Santa hat to add some holiday cheer. The call brought together 280 young people and children who have lost a parent in the Armed Forces.

During the session, Harry shared thoughtful words about the holiday season and the emotions it can bring.

“It’s okay to feel however you feel at Christmas,” Harry told the group. “Some people will be celebrating and happy, others may feel reflective, and some may feel sad. You might experience all these emotions, and that’s perfectly fine.”

He continued, offering comfort, “Remember you’ve got each other; you’ve got Scotty’s, and you’ve got the people who love you.”

After his warm message, Harry participated in a lighthearted Q&A session with the charity’s members. The quiz featured a variety of fun and random questions, including some about his own experiences in the Armed Forces.

Bethan, one of the attendees, shared her thoughts on the experience, saying, “I felt a real connection with Prince Harry. The party was lively and fun, but he also reminded us that it’s okay to feel a mix of emotions. He made it clear that he understands what we’ve been through.”

Bethan added, “It means a lot to us that he’s part of the Scotty’s community and that he’s proud to support us.”
